摘要

Seed material of two chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) varieties and their F_0 seed were subjected to different doses of gamma rays. The results pertaining to LD_(50), germination, seedling survival, pollen sterility, shoot length, root length and seedlingvigour index revealed that the homozygous material was more sensitive than the heterozygous material for gamma rays irradiation. Observations on germination, seedling survival and seedling vigour index also led to the same inference.
