New and rare species of heterobasidiomycetes

Six new species of heterobasidiomycetes are described, one from Russia (Achroomyces sibiricus sp. nov.) and 5 from Denmark (Achroomyces soranus sp. nov., Spiculogloea subminuta sp. nov., Tremella caloceraticola sp. nov., T. colpomaticola sp. nov. and T. silvae-dravedae sp. nov.). A new name, Tremella karstenii, is proposed to replace the illegitimate Tremella juniperina. Platygloea laplata and Tremella indecorata are illustrated and compared with some of the new species. Endoperplexa enodulosa is illustrated from a recent collection with a conidial state connected to the basidial state. The zygoconidia of Syzygospora pallida are shown to germinate directly with a clamp-connection and a haustorium. The first Danish record of Exidiopsis gloeophora is reported and illustrated.
