摘要

The intention of the hot end coating is the vaporisation of a very thin tin oxide layer on to the hot surface of containers. By this an essential strengthening of containers is achieved. At present in the production are mainly used the coating agent SnCl4 and MBTC1. The lower costs for Sncl4 are equalized through a lower consumption by MBTC1. Furthermore there are some other advantages by using MBTC1, for example lower variations of the coating thickness at the complete surface of the containers.
