A report is presented of a meeting for veterinarians held in May 2008 at Vechta, Germany. Special attention is paid to possible changes in German legislation regarding the use of pig feeds and drinking water for oral administration of veterinarian drugs. However, these rumours were unfounded, although some research showed inaccurate use of doses.
