摘要

Serum creatinine is a flawed, though frequently used, marker of acute kidney injury (AKI). Interleukin (IL)-18 could offer a means of detecting AKI earlier than creatinine does. OBJECTIVE To assess the capacity of urine IL-18 levels to predict AKI in patients with acute lung injury (ALI) under intensive care.
