摘要

Poly(acrylic acid)-capped copper nanoparticles with controlled size and shape were prepared by a simple chemical reaction. The synthesis is performed by the reduction of copper(II) salt with hydrazine in aqueous solution under atmospheric air in the presence of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) capping agent. The results suggest that the size and shape of the copper nanoparticles were found to depend strongly on the NaOH and Cu(II) ion amount ratios. With moderate amount ratios, cuboctahedral shaped copper nanoparticles were obtained. The SERS activity of copper nanoparticles was investigated.
