My first exposure to high-security upgrades occurred as a young reactor operations senior supervisor. Our facility's security system was being upgraded with the assistance of folks from a security system design contractor, security experts from Sandia National Labs, the onsite Special Response Team provider, the site Health and Safety group, and the federal regulatory agency.
