Utility Outreach Programs Aid K-12 Science and Technology Education

By the age of 12, my career plan of becoming the next great Boston Red Sox left fielder in the tradition of Williams, Yastrzemski, and Rice had been obliterated by the tragic genetic disorder Haud potestas lusum (translated roughly, "lack of athletic ability"). While I did not know it at the time, the inspiration for my next career plan would come from our family's summer drives from Peabody, Massachusetts, to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
