Municipal Waste-to-Energy Has Very Little Public Health Impact

In 2000,the National Research Council(NRC)published Waste Incineration&Public Health,a study that reviewed the state of knowledge of all forms of waste combustion,including municipal solid waste-to-energy(WTE)as well as hazardous waste and medical waste incineration.Since then,numerous additional studies have been conducted,and this article is intended as an update of the NRC report.
