Crafter makes a statement with its muscular and purposeful looks, enhanced by a grille with four horizontally positioned bars, plugging deep into its front bumper. Behind the grille sits an all-new 2.5 litre five-cylinder diesel engine, with power ratings of 80kW, 100kW and 120kW, with torque support of 280Nm, 300Nm and 350Nm respectively. It is the first Volkswagen diesel to deliver fuel via common rail technology. The common rail injection system operates at a much higher pressure and is an essential component in delivering more efficient combustion, as diesel engine technology moves towards emitting less noxious exhaust emissions and improved fuel economy.
