General expressions for effective Young's modulusof quasilayered specimens were derived for model situationcorresponding to statical tensile tests and dynamical resonant tests.These expressions enable us to evaluate the effective-modulusvalues which would be measured if the quasilayered specimenswere undergone tensile tests and dynamical resonant tests. Generalexpression for effective Young's modulus based on sampleresponses (elongation, vibration) occuring in the plane ofquasilayers, are equal for the both testing-method sets. On theother hand, general expressions as well as most of particularvalues for the effective Young's modulus, based on the sampleresponses perpendicular to quasilayers, differ from each other andfrom those for "in plane" modulus. So, for a design use, themodulus value determined by means of the method compatiblewith the application intended should be chosen.
