2nd lot of coal auction: 84 bids technically qualifi ed

As many as 84 applications from a hostof companies, including Adani Power, JindalPower, JSW Energy and Hindustan Zinc, havecleared the initial stages of coal auction for atotal of 130 blocks put up by the government inthe second tranche. "Out of the total applications we received, 84are found to be technically valid," a source said.
