The mines ministry has notified draft rules on terms and conditions and the transfer charges for transfer of mining lease (ML) granted otherwise than through auction for captive purposes through the MMDR (Amendment) Act, 2016. The draft rules, inviting comments & suggestions from general public and carious other stakeholders by May 25, 2016, have been posted on the ministry's website.
