Kondinin Group found owners were generally satisfied with the units — 70 per cent reported they would buy the same or similar machine again. Three owners (18%) were uncertain while two owners (12%) would not, with four-wheel-drive engagement and service costs the most common reasons cited. The utes had travelled an average distance of 62,192 kilometres. Assembled in Thailand, the RA series was released in Australia during 2004 and included the DX (single cabin), LX (single, super and crew cabin) and LT (crew cabin) models. All models surveyed were four-wheel-drive. The RA series Rodeo was superseded by the new RC series Colorado during 2008.
