Small batch production of plastic housings

K-Box is the name of a technology which combines milling, bending and joining operations in a system for the production of machine housings. Unlike forming processes such as injection molding and foaming no expensive molds are required Deep-drawing, on the other hand, is too imprecise as an alternative. The economic efficiency and accuracy of the K-Box system are demonstrated by the example of a housing produced for engraving machines.
