Act now to reduce mouse threat

In South Australia, new research has identified the most effective strategies to stop mice destroying crops and bottom lines. During 2010, mice plagues reduced potential yields almost a third in the worst affected crops in South Australia. A combination of thinner crops and increased weeds contributed both to crop losses and to increased herbicide costs.
