Multi-protocol print server KP-501FX for 10/100M

Since KOMATSU's first release of the Multi-Protocol Print Server KP-501, new technologies have been introduced in the field of computer networks. Among these technologies include HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), which is the standard communication protocol for the Internet and Intranet, Novell's NDS (Novell Directory Services), which replaces its original bindery services as Novell's standard networking protocol, and the 100 BASE-Tx ethernet, which provides 10 times the bandwidth of its predecessor, the 10BASE-T ethernet. These new technologies have been incorporated into a new generation of Print Servers described below.
