Testing the small ones: Biogen fired unit district heating power stations save resources

Saving resources by using regenerative fuels in unit district heating power stations (UDHPS) - do such supply systems keep what they promise in an energetic overall scale or are they lust a fig leaf? A comparison study from Prof. Dr.-Ing. MarkusBrautsch regarding the application of biogenic fluid fuels in small UDHPS comes to the conclusion that these systems are well suitable to save fossil primary energy.
