IF THE M5 wasn't finding life hard enough, it's about to get it from inside its own workshops -and in a far sexier body shell. The result is the M6 GranCoupe, which is no less spectacular for its predictability. It runs the M5's twin-turbo V8 and delivers 412kW of power and throws the all-new body shell to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. That sleek new body (which BMW, like Benz with its four-door CLS, insists on calling a "coupe") is now stuffed full of bigger brakes, richer trim, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and, of course, a host of cooling and intercooling bits and pieces.
