摘要

The Mushroom Good Agricultural Practices (MGAP) program has been successful in bringing the industry up to, and even exceeding, current produce farm food safety standards. Collaborative efforts between Penn State Extension and the American Mushroom Institute (AMI) have been valuable for educating regulators and auditors on how mushrooms are grown and what efforts the industry has taken to prevent microbial, chemical and physical contamination.
