摘要

When considering control of diseases caused by living organisms, three requirements for a disease to develop are needed: a susceptible host, a pathogen and a favorable environment. Therefore, control of the disease has to focus on one of these factors. Controlling fungal diseases of mushrooms is difficult on commercial farms. Environmental and nutritional requirements for the mushroom also encourage the development of three main fungal diseases: Trichoderma green mold, Verticillium dry bubble and Clado-botryum cobweb. Ecological controls such as a reduction in temperature or humidity are impractical, since these factors are crucial to the mushroom's yield and quality.
