Two new species of Perenniporia described from a lowland rainforest of Malaysia

Two species of the genus Perenniporia are described as new from a lowland rainforest of West Malaysia. Perenniporia dipterocarpicola is characterized by the resupinate and usually sulfur-yellow basidiocarps with tiny pores, abundant chlamydospores in the cultures and consistent occurrence on dipterocarp trees. Perenniporia hexagonoides is characterized by the flabelliform to dimidiate basidiocarps with large hexagonal pores and large ellipsoid basidiospores. A key to the world species of Perenniporia with resupinate basidiocarps is provided.
