Project focus: LSS Waste Management

Five years in the planning, LSS Waste Management's 7 acre materials separation and recycling facility in Leeds finally opened last year and immediately started coming good on its promises. Touted as the largest separation site in Europe, it is set to process 500,000 tonnes a year -65 percent - 70 percent of which will be C&D waste. It recycles well over its 80 percent target of materials coming into the site from its skip hire operation.
