Increasingly companies starting up in the recycling or separation business are looking for suppliers to offer a full range of services. As you would expect, the market is responding. Last year saw Powerscreen Washing and Hydrex combine forces to create Duo to offer a full service for the aggregates, recycling and materials handling industries while European and US firms also set up camp in the UK to test the water. Part of the Duo line-up, LJH was responsible for a new 80-120 tph waste sorting system being installed for Kiely Bros in East Birmingham last year. Designed to take mostly skip waste, the plant delivers clean hardcore and the means to separate products such as paper and metal for recycling.
