Geranium aequale (Bab.) Aedo (Geraniaceae), a not so new species for The Netherlands?

Geranium aequale (Bab.) Aedo (Geraniaceae) is an overlooked species in The Netherlands. It is very similar to G. molle L., but differs by having smooth fruit valves with a row of cilia at their base and a relatively longer seed, which is clearly protruding beyond the valves. Moreover, it seems that the species often has white flowers. Some additional localities for Germany and the United Kingdom are given as well as a nomenclatural survey and a description.
