摘要

Heat island phenomenon is one of serious problems that have been developed due to intensehuman activities in urban area. The phenomenon increases days with the maximum temperatureover 30 deg C and nights with the maximum temperature over 25 deg C. Moreover, the patternof local precipitation is influenced due to heat island phenomenon. In this study, the relationshipbetween the rainfall frequency and urban structure parameters are evaluated using Radar-AMeDAS rainfall images to verify the effects of urbanization to the rainfall characteristics. Inaddition, the surface temperature data from NOAA-14/AVHRR are added to these parameters.The results show the clear relationship between the heavy rainfall in the daytime over urbanizedarea and urban structures. The evening rainfall, however, may be affected by the moving rainfallevents from the west.
