摘要

The Tietz-Hua (TH) potential is one of the very best analytical model potentials for the vibrational energy of diatomic molecules. By using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method and Pekeris approximation to the centrifugal term, we have obtained the solutions of the radial Schrdinger equation for the TH potential. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions are calculated in closed form. Some remarks and numerical results are also presented for some diatomic molecules.
