摘要

Formerly, we have discovered two types of ferruginous segregations unknown in soils until now; they are oval in shape, their genesis is not clear, and we referred them to the group of ovaloids [1]. They were similar to large ortsteins (nodules with undifferentiated fabric) in size and color, but were discriminated from them by their longated, or oval shape and concentric internal fabric. Geologists name similar formations ooliths. We gave them two individual names—oval black-brown iron-manganic andrusty-ocherous iron concretionary neoformations. The analytical data obtained recently enabled us to make the characteristics of these neoformations more complete and bring some light to their genesis.
