Optimistic about manufacturing

Since taking the job as president of AMT last year, I have become increasingly optimistic about the future of North American manufacturing, Consistent economic trends support my optimism. Rising U.S. machine tool consumption, climbing international shipping rates, continually improving North American productivity and the anticipated revaluation of the Yuan mark a reversal of the trend to outsource U.S., Canadian and European manufacturing to China.
