摘要

A database containing about 750 descriptions of soil profiles was created and processed for studying the development of cation exchange capacity (CEC) in soils. The distribution analysis was used for the identification of the development stage of the soil exchange complex and the separation of mature soils in terms of the CEC development. Original methodological approaches were used to confirm the relationship between the soil CEC and the content of total calcium and magnesium in the parent rocks. An equation was derived for describing this relationship, and the effect of environmental factors on the development of the soil exchange complex was analyzed.
