Keith Sabel knows a thing or two about tradition. Montgomery, Alabama-based Sabel Steel was founded by Keith Sabel's great-great-grandfather before the Civil War as a local company that emphasized individual service. Five generations later, Sabel entered the business now operated by his father and uncle, focusing on scrap and general line steel items such as flat rolled, structural plate and expanded metal products. The company had added service center locations, two scrap recycling plants, a rebar fabrication facility and a whole-sale center.
