Red Bud will supply blanking line in Michigan

Arlington Metals Corp., a steel service center in Franklin Park, Illinois, has bought its second high-speed, multi-blanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, Illinois. It will be installed in February 2003 at Arlington's plant in Sawyer, Michigan. Since Arlington installed its first Red Bud high-speed, multi-blanking line in 1994, its close tolerance blank business has continued to grow and expand, especially in the automotive, appliance, office furniture and door industries. With expanding market coverage, it was becoming difficult servicing customers with just-in-time deliveries only from Arlington's Franklin Park facility. Based on Arlington's experience with Red Bud and the success with the first line, the decision was made to buy another Red Bud multi-cut blanking line for the Michigan facility.
