摘要

In this paper, a thermodynamic model for discharge from a tank through solenoid valves is presented. The heat transfer coefficient is determined on the basis of the experimental expression for natural convection and the discharge pressure curve of a solenoid valve with known flow rate characteristics. After simulation results were correlated against experimental data, the model is applied to identify the flow rate characteristics of different discharge solenoid valves. The results illustrate that this identification method can be used to test the solenoid flow rate characteristics simply and efficiently.
