摘要

High-frequency noise in slowly varying signals has been filtered by designing a digital transient recorder which uses a fast analogue to digital converter to collect data at short intervals of time delta. In this design the data collected between two successive recordings of digital data at longer time intervals Delta are added and averaged to increase the signal-to-noise ratio. Such noise filtering does not distort single exponential signals encountered in relaxation studies. [References: 4]
