The Fifth International Symposium on Signal Transduction in Health and Disease (STADY V) was held in conjunction with the Summer Neuropeptide Conference (SNP) between October 22 and 24,2008 at Tel Aviv University, Israel.Previous STADY symposia included STADY I in November 1997, in honor of Dr. Kevin Catt, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), STADY II in September 2000, STADY III in October 2002 and STADY IV in October 2005 in honor of Dr. David Klein (NICHD, NIH).
