摘要

This paper reports on the development of a high-sensitivity resonant sensor for the measurement of gas viscosity and/or density. The sensor will exploit nonlinear dynamic behaviour and measure the frequency separation between singular jump points in amplitude-frequency curves. It is shown that the sensitivity of the proposed nonlinear sensor is at least an order of magnitude better than that of conventional linear devices.
