First it was "global wanning," but when that didn't fly, it morphed into "climate change," which is a pretty safe bet to occur because earth's climate is always changing and always will, irrespective of what humans do. Using data from the May MODERN CASTING article, "Metalcasting's Carbon Footprint," three different scenarios are possible, with water vapor contributing anywhere from 66 percent to 95 percent of the estimated total greenhouse effect. This extremely broad range for the effect of water vapor underscores the highly questionable accuracy of the data being used by environmentalists to promote the need to control carbon dioxide emissions by humans. The data not only has no defined accuracy range but also lacks any measure of experimental procedural bias (largely because there is no experimental data).
