Private Equity Firm Acquires Second Metalcasting Facility in Eight Month Period

TMB Industries, Chicago, recently acquired Stainless Foundry and Engineering Inc., Milwaukee, a provider of steel and other high alloy composition castings. The acquisition came about seven months after the firm purchased its first metalcasting facility, Richland Center Foundry, Richland Center, Wis. Prior to that buyout, TMB owned three non-casting automotive manufacturers-stamping facility DynAmerica, Muncie, Ind., metal and plastic finishing provider Miller Products, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Whitley, Pierceton, Ind., a supplier of tubular components and assemblies.
