he rims are 15 x 10 inch Holman and Moody Deep Dish rims which were virtually on every car of this era. These were imported from 'Southern Motor Sports' in California. The hubs were filled in on the front and were drilled out on the rear. This was to simulate a full floating rear axle. Valve stems were added from fine wire. Wheel weights were added from small pieces of black masking tape painted aluminium. The backs of the rims were painted in undercoat as it was thought that this would give them a far better look than painting in the same colour as the front rims. The rear set were painted in black to simulate drum brake backing plates whilst the front and rear rims came from the wheel set from California and already have discs moulded to them, as NASCAR allowed the optional use of discs in 1968.
