Ford design engineers needed to evoke the spirit of classic 1960s Mustangs in the latest design that uses Sequel 1440 HF thermoplastic polyolefin instead of metal to achieve hard edges,sharp corners,deep pockets,and tight radii in injection-molded front and rear bumper fascias.These were processed on presses at Auto Alliance that were limited in capacity to less than 3000 tons of clamp force.
