Low pressure good enough for targe part

Dutch processor AVK Plastics(Balk,the Netherlands)has been able to integrate a novel mold/hot runner solution into his relatively small injection molding machine,and use it to mold large plastic pallets.For customer Q-Pall,a distribution center,it molds pallets sized 100 cm by 120 cm,from 32kg of foamed regrind polypropylene.Rather than acquire a high-pressure(and costly)machine,AVK settled on low-pressure molding of the pallets.
