J update: uprated, selling well and benefiting from validation with in-house CCGT power plant

MHI's strategy for the commercial introduction of its new J series gas turbine demonstrates the benefits of having an in-house grid-dispatched combined cycle plant for long term validation testing. On the basis of experience so far the new machine has been uprated. MHI also reports brisk sales, with 17 ordered to date.
