Five new versions of Neopolen P expanded polypropylene(EPP)are finding increased application in the automotive(where 72% of the material is used),packaging,and transport sectors.BASF,this polymer's manufacturer,says the grades offer numerous advantages over competititve polystyrene and polyurethane including exceptionally good shock absorption properties,heat insulation,formability,low moisture retention,and isotropic deformation performance.They can also be sterilized.
