Nordex unveils 6 MW unit for offshore wind

German wind turbine maker Nordex has unveiled plans for a campaign in the fast emerging European offshore market, led by its next new machine, a 6 MW 'efficiency class' lightweight direct-drive unit designated N150/6000, to be developed specifically for that market.
