Teijin Chemicals Ltd.(Tokyo,Japan),a specialty plastics company in the Teijin Group,this summer announced that the next-generation Shinkansen train,called Series N700 and in operation in Japan since this summer,uses windows made of Teijin's highly durable Panlite special polycarbonate resin for the first time.
