This section provides an overview of meeting activities in thearea of spill science and technology. We have modified our procedureto list both past and upcoming conferences, symposia, workshops, andother meetings to allow our readers to be informed of the conferenceand to obtain a copy of the proceedings if they wer unable to attend.The list includes meeting which promise to e important to thuereadership o Spill Science Technology Bulletin, that is appearingto deal with the subject matter of the journal in some depth. Some ofthe meetings might focus entirely on oil and chemical spill scienceand technolog, while others might have only a portion of theirprogram dedicated to this topic. The readers are urged to use thecontacts provided to obtain additional information.
