Fluoropolymers are a class of paraf-finic polymers that have hydrogen atoms partially or fully replaced by fluorine. They exhibit exceptional chemical resistance and barrier properties, broad temperature resistance, good electrical properties, almost no moisture absorption, extremely low coefficients of friction, and resistance to weathering, among other positive attributes. These attributes make them ideal materials for chemically resistant liners, gaskets, heat-resistant cabling, tubing, and filters, valve, pump, and electrical components, coatings and weather-resistant films, among other applications.
