Wow! Almost 400 people were there, and it was a genuinely international event. There was a note of excitement among the attendees too, a "things are going our way" vibe. I was so thrilled to see a successful plasties industry event that I did it again: Wow! No, I wasn't channeling a teenager; I was eyeing the attendee list. There were OEMs and brand owners aplenty, representing the packaging industry, of course, as much of the current bioplas-tics' buzz is in that space, but also carmakers, electronic device manufacturers, and other consumer goods areas. Not too many processors on here, though, I thought; bit of a shame as surely these are the people many processors would like to meet.
