ConAgra Foods(Omaha,NE)crossed an important sustainability threshold,reporting that it is the first company in North America to incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic into its frozen meal trays-a move that will divert approximately 8 million lb of plastic from landfills to the recycling stream annually,but perhaps more important,entice others in the food industry to follow suit.
