The latest additions to the electric Microsystem range, intended for the micro-injection molding of parts weighing less than 100 mg, include what the manufacturer calls a completely new line, with two clamping forces, two injection unit sizes, and the addition of various modules. Based on the existing Microsystem 50, the machines feature a three-step system that separates plasticizing, dosing, and injection. The manufacturer says that pre-plas-ticizing and the use of a plasficizing screw with plunger injection allows tiny parts to be bolded with a high degree of accuracy.
